Good for families

One with nature.

We have visited this site on many occasions and really enjoy its peaceful location. There is a choice of pitches hardstanding on the main sections and some grass pitches in smaller wooded glades. Within just a few paces of your caravan you can be out walking in the forest and there is a good chance of seeing lots of different animals and birds. Take a walk at dusk and you are likely to see deer quietly grazing or a tawny owl or two. It is located not far from the towns of Brandon, Thetford and Swaffham. Just down the road is Mundford which has a beautiful arboretum and some lovely walks. If you are a Dad's Army fan then the Dad's Army Museum in Thetford is a must. If you love nature then a trip to RSPB Lakenheath Fen is great but don't forget your binoculars!
