Just had 3 really lovely nights at Thetford club site. Staff were very welcoming and the site is right next to the 7 Armoured division museum which was sadly closed due to Covid 19. Still plenty of dog walking so a great site for taking the dogs and letting them loose in the forest with plenty of signed walks. (Lots of squirrels for them to chase) Sadly there was no gas available for sale on the site. The wardens explained this was a club decision. Also they weren't able to tell us where we might be able to get some. However, if you are desperate the Calor centre in Bury St Edmunds IP28 6QY has plenty and is open albeit a bit expensive. There is no club sign off the road from Mundford (Not even a brown caravan sign) but the great big Tank sitting at the entrace is a big clue. If you have never been before turn into the museum entrance and follow the concrete road until you see the caravan club site on the right. It would help if they put a sign up!. No toilet block but plenty of service points around the site.
