We have visited the site at Thetford Forest before and it didn't disappoint when we went back there recently for a ten night visit. The site is immaculate and is a true credit to the wardens. Apart from the occasional aircraft noise it is a very tranquil area with good walks. with maps and instructions available from the warden's office for a fee of a few pence. All drivers observed the site speed limit of 5 mph and the children on site were also respectful of the limit when riding their bikes. We visited the Wayland Show which is a traditional agricultural show with tractors and machines (classic and modern), a good display of cows, sheep and pigs, a funfair and fast food and lots of entertainment in the main ring.
