We returned to this site again because of the peace and quite; I know the military aircraft fly around but we don't mind that.  The site is great for a peaceful existence but has little to keep the children amused.  The site also allows us to visit National Trust and English Heritage buildings.  If you are a Whisky drinker the English Whisky Company is a must (but do nominate a driver, as tours and tastings are plentiful).  The downside of the site - none; I personally wish that people would keep their speed down especially when there are young children around.
