We had a lovely weekend at Sandringham, managing to book a pitch on the day at 9.00 a.m. (which must've been cancelled overnight) and arriving - having food-shopped en route - by 2.30 p.m. The wardens were very helpful in arranging that we didn't have to change pitch for our second night (one night with awning/one night without), for which we were very grateful. The facilities were spotless as always and the were given very helpful information about the local area, which meant we had a nice walk to Sandringham House and Garden through the forest - passing Winnie-the-Pooh's house on the way! The wardens' office is tiny compared to other similar sized sites - e.g. Peterborough, Wareham - they could really do with rather more space. I'm amazed how cheerful they were in such a cramped environment on a busy site! We look forward to visiting again.
