On arrival we were met by lovely hosts on a very clean and tidy site, located in some beautiful countryside. The location has some very dog friendly pubs, and cafes with plenty of walks around the site. Disappointingly the site is located on the main road and there is some traffic noise, along with road works, which were noisy and lasted throughout our stay. There are no ablution facilities at all, which was expected however the site next door, off the main road would have been a better choice. The waste disposal requires separation of glass, however this is then located at a different drop off point making it really awkward to dispose of rubbish. Why not just move the glass bin to the same location as the rest! Also to note, if you get stuck in the mud they don’t have any way to assist in getting you out, and made it clear, they wouldn’t help anyway … not that this effected us. Great for dogs but very little for kids unless walking or biking as a pass time, definitely don’t expect to use multi devices as the WiFi can’t cope when you want a quiet 30 mins.
