Third visit
This was our third visit to this site so obviously it suits us as a site and as a location. The site is always immaculate and well cared for by the wardens who are friendly and welcoming and very helpful.
The pub across the road is very useful if you do not want to cook but you may need to book at weekends.
The site location is convenient for walking up on the moors and along the old rail tracks around the head of the valley. Great location for cycling and running as long as you like challenging hill climbs.
