Recent weekend stay
This is a reasonably local site for us so we know the area quite well. Great for walking, lots of industrial history to see up the dale. Pubs nearby are good, the White Horse up the bank has great views from the garden. Pity the views from the site aren't available, screened by large trees, I suspect that's the National Park insisting on screening. Make a visit to Dale Head farm for real Yorkshire tea and delicious cakes, nice owner/ baker too.
Wardens are unobtrusive and helpful when you need it, so good.
