We were disappointed with location and connection to walks which the description alluded to. To get to any walks you had to walk along the road and whilst most cars gave wide berth with a dog you were spending more time waiting for cars to pass. The Shining Cliff walk worth doing thou the Old Wire Works an eyesore. It’s a site You def need a car and use the site as a base. Good for one /stretch two nights Buses infrequent and bus stop near site didn’t appear to go to Belper (local town) Tried taxi but had to wait 45 mins The lower pitches have nice views. Overall nothing wrong with site just location was night right for us.
