The Firs was a new site to us. We chose it as there were a few places we wanted to visit in the area. It’s well located and there are a range of attractions not too far away. The site is quite small and it’s a bit compact for larger units. They will fit just. In addition follow the route instructions. The other routes have steep gradients and it’s worth the u turn at Morrisons. Site staff were very helpful and the site is well looked after. WiFi is good, dog walk is sufficient but I wouldn’t let a dog off lead, there aren’t any easy walks from site or pubs, so as a consequence it’s not a great location for families. However for others it’s ideal as apart from a bit of road noise it’s peaceful and there is a nice view from the site.
