This is a really nice site to explore the Peak District. It’s peaceful and beautifully kept. It was our first visit to this particular site, the staff are welcoming and friendly, the shower block is well situated and very clean. The bus stop is just outside, connecting to Belper, where trains go to various other locations in the area and beyond. There is a pub in walking distance, but there is quite a hill, and the car museum, which is a must, is a very short drive away, as is the tram museum. The information room is very informative with plenty of leaflets and books to assist you with planning your stay.
