Excellent site with very friendly and helpful wardens. Good views from some pitches (for example 40, 41 and 42). Pitches overlooking dale have some train noise, but we did not find it an issue. No play area which we found good but may be an issue if you are visiting with young children, so "good for families" rating is a guess but is required. Facilities very slightly worn but kept immaculate. Site situated in Derbyshire Dales which we actually found more picturesque than the Peak District itself. Usual comment that we believe rubbish bins only at entrance, instead of at every service point, is a retrograde step that must discourage recycling, but this is common to all Club sites. We visited in August and again in October.
