Satisfactory short stay

Small site, 5 minute drive from Belper with shops and large supermarkets. Belper is a nice old town with a lovely river walk along the gardens. The grass pitch we had was fairly small, would have been better with a larger hard standing pitch. Many pitches are overhung with large trees... Show more

Excellent Site and Wardens

We have stayed on this site on several occasions over the last few weeks, before it closed down for winter, due to us in the process of relocating to the area, in the near future. We can only say that the two wardens, Jeanette and Chris, have been the most... Show more

Quiet and well kept site

We were disappointed with location and connection to walks which the description alluded to. To get to any walks you had to walk along the road and whilst most cars gave wide berth with a dog you were spending more time waiting for cars to pass. The Shining... Show more

Excellent site

Excellent site with very friendly and helpful wardens. Good views from some pitches (for example 40, 41 and 42). Pitches overlooking dale have some train noise, but we did not find it an issue. No play area which we found good but may be an issue if... Show more
