We have just spent a week at The Firs & can find nothing to complain about, the site is maintained immaculately, the grounds are tidy and rubbish free & the shower/loo block is absolutely spotless and always comfortably warm, plenty of hot water for showers and washing-up. There are spectacular views & even a little seating area (with views) where you can have a picnic. We would stay again if we came to this area. We also had a great meal at a local pub, The Black Boy, lovely food & great value, but you need to book for weekends.
