Great weekend
Just had a long weekend at The Firs. Been there before and enjoyed it then and still think it is one of the best sites.
Only 2 drawbacks -
1/ the next door neighbour lit a bonfire while we were there and the smoke came all across the pitches
2/ there is no footpath to Belper from the site and the road is rather dangerous
Apart from that it is an excellent site and the Wardens were great.
