What a great site run by brilliant people. We asked for an extra night they accommodated us, they even cancelled the site we had intended to travel on to. On the final day of our stay it rained all day, the Severn got the hump and overflowed in the middle of the night, some of the lower pitches were flooded as was the main entrance. The Wardens were up until the early hours moving caravans and motorhomes to new safer places, including a line along the road by the toilet block. And then with a cheery manner ushered everything around in the morning so that those who were leaving could escape via the back gate (before the tide came in again) and those who were staying were relocated to dry pitches. And as we left even the parting cry of 'I bet you're pleased you stayed an extra night' was delivered with a smile. Well yes we were, and we will be back. I like folk with a sense of humour.
