So Much Potential... But A Think Needed
Just returned home after a short visit. Many reviewers fairly point out the situation at Tewkesbury. It is a bit raw following the recent work and that will hopefully soften. However there is much thinking to be done to rescue this site from being a lost opportunity. It is too crowded and the layout peculiar. There were several full service pitches sited near the facilities block standing empty while elsewhere the occupied pitches seem to be close together. The site is overlooked by neighbouring houses and what appear to be low level apartments or flats. The approach and entrance to the washrooms are wide open to these properties. Some thought about screening might be helpful.
I do wonder why, given the investment on the site leading to the building of several hard surface pitches and the location of the site so near to the town why this site isn’t open all the year round. It would come into its own as a winter location.
