We have stayed on this site several times this year as we have family in Tewkesbury. We have just returned from an extended stay on site. The wardens are always cheerful and helpful and the site is clean and tidy. It’s location close to the town centre is brilliant. The floral displays near the reception area have been lovely over the summer and autumn. There is more work to do on the site following its redevelopment this year, extra landscaping, planting and pitch levelling in some areas during their closed period. The biggest drawback for us was the freezing cold toilet and shower blocks. The outside temperatures were freezing in the mornings and there was cold air being circulated from the ceiling vents in the blocks. The tiled floors in the shower and sink cubicles were freezing to stand on in bare feet, in all not a very comfortable experience! We reported it to the wardens several times during our stay but unfortunately there was no improvement at all. May be that the heating systems in the new building are not functioning as they should and are on the snagging list!!??
