We have visited the site a few times since its refurbishment. The new shower block is dominant and stark, and whilst the facilities are excellent, everything is approached via stairs or a ramp. The doors to Gents and Ladies are heavy and open with a large round knob, quite difficult for those who are frail or have arthritis. We pitched at the side of the shower block and could clearly hear the gents door slamming closed throughout the evening. A real nuisance. Overall we love this site and it will soften when the newly planted areas mature. Only other surprise was the pitch price. The club seems to be getting quite expensive compared to competitor sites and we thought close on £40 a night expensive, even for a serviced pitch
