Needs Review of pitches

Visited for two nights this last week on our way south. Luckily we booked a no awning pitch ( blue peg) which with the exception of a few are now hard standing brick bases and very good. The few that where on grass were small and difficult to access and had we been later we would have struggled to get a large motorhome on. All the grass pitches were very wet and units had obviously had trouble getting off. I wish the club would reconsider the ability to book hard standing then you know what you're getting and not playing the get there asap game to get hardstanding pitches. This site really does need to get rid off some more grass pitches and provide decent hardstanding. It's such a shame really because it's a well run site, friendly wardens and great Covid cleaning routines. But I would never book a std pitch with awning as all grass. There are also some pitches that are barely fit for purpose, to small and up to trees etc with little room for car etc, these need to be removed.
