Just spent 5 days at Tewkesbury and had a lovely time. The site entrance is decorated with lovely flowers and amusing "things" to welcome you. We were met at the gates by a very helpful and friendly chap who explained the site rules and COVID regulations etc., in a very friendly manner. We chose our grassed plot (49) that was really spacious (seen some comments that some plots were tight!!) and it was clean and tidy too. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, and work extremely hard to keep the site in tip top shape, they even apologising for the noise, when a guest left, and they had to cut the grass plot ready for their next guest, whist we were having a cuppa sat outside our caravan. Its so near the Abbey and the lovely town that we didn't use our car the whole time we were there. The site office supplied us with a map of the town. Its a shame that Tewkesbury Town Tourist Information Office was closed so we couldn't get maps of places to go/walk/cycle/see etc ., but we saw lots by just wandering down to the river and walking along, exploring the town and then at the boat house. We have booked again for 2021.
