Loss of Character
We spent 3 nights at Tewkesbury in mid September in our motorhome.
This was our third visit, but first to the new 'improved' site, but what a difference, lovely facilities but no character, all a bit sterile and all a bit cramped. We note there are now less pitches than before but everybody seems to be too close together, especially on the grass pitches. A few more shrubs between pitches would help.
Just one final comment, why do members insist on cutting across pitches or climb barriers when walking to the facilities? There are perfectly good roads on the site without the need to invade people's privacy, it's just good manners.
Manners aside, it's a perfectly placed site for exploring Tewkesbury and could be excellent with the planting of a few well placed shrubs.
