Tewkesbury Abbey site is perfect for walking into the town, there are also great local walks around the town. Having read the general moans relating to the shower and toilet block I was pleasantly surprised, they are fine and very clean. The wardens are very helpful, with helping guests getting their caravans/ motorhome's off the pitches as it was quite wet. The only problem we had which wasn't the fault of the campsite but a dog owner who allowed their little four legged friend to foul just outside our MH door and neglect to take it home with them - this was reported to reception who ensured us they would remove it!! They didn't.... If you are planning to visit this site be careful if you happen to have pitch 131...dog dirt in your MH would be nasty. We are happy to see all dogs enjoying themselves but mom and dad be responsible and pick it up... We would definitely go back to Tewkesbury Abbey.
