Congratulations Caravan & Motorhome Club

You have managed with lots of thought and planning to totally destroy this once charming site in this beautiful old town of Tewksbury. The site is now sterile and characterless. All the grass pitches are uneven and like a ploughed field. The hard standings are too close together and the whole site is overcrowded. The facilities block is far too overpowering and very badly thought out (why have a ramp the opposite end of the building to the disabled facilities) There is only one chemical waste disposal point on the whole site. I could go on and on about your lack of forethought and planning but your limit on my input does restrict this. The whole site is overcrowded. I am sure any thought of your members has been put to one side in the pursuit of profit. The staff had difficulty dealing with blocked toilets and issues dealing with non members coming onto the site which can be very upsetting.

Wallis3 - you have perfectly captured the problems with this site. In such a delightful location, design opportunities have been sacrificed. In developing the network, the club should examine how sites will work in practice. Just a little more thought and care here could have been transformational.
