This was our 4th visit to this site this year; as you might gather we really do like this site. Only one hour from home this site gives us everything we want for a 4 or 5 night stay. Once the car is parked on day one that is it until we have to leave; everything we want is within walking distance. Tewkesbury is a lovely town with a great array of pubs and restaurants something for everyones taste. Having two dogs we are still finding more interesting walks as well as the beautiful river walks. The large green just outside the site is also a great exercise area both for the dogs and us. The ringing of the Abbey bells really does add to the ambience of this site. Granted the toilet blocks are looking a little tired but much praise has to go to the wardens who keep them spotlessly clean. All in all a tremendous site if you just want to go and chill out; we intend visiting again soon.
