A great place for a stopover
This site was a stopover for us on the long trip back from Cornwall to Lancashire.
Tewkesbury is ideally located just a few minutes off the M5 motorway and the Caravan Club site sits in the shadow of the magnificent abbey.
Tewkesbury is a very pretty town with lots of old buildings, riverside walks and a number of inviting pubs. It's certainly worth a visit in its own right.
The site itself has all grass pitches, some of which are not suitable for motorhomes due to the soft ground. The staff at the site were extremely friendly and helpful.
Once you are booked in you are issued its a set of keys. Toilet blocks need a key, the barrier needs a key and the pedestrian exit needs a key. Guess there must be a good reason..
The facilities are in need of an update. This was especially noticeable having just come from a private site in Cornwall where everything was very modern.
