From the minute we arrived we had an excellent stay! The staff are absolutely lovely & so friendly made us feel like we had been going there for years when actually it was our first visit!! The toilets & all facilities were exceptionally clean all the time. We used the drying room for our wellies etc it was so clean i felt awful putting dirty wellies in ha ha!! Park was too young for our children as they are 15 & 11 now but would be great for little ones. Whole site was very dog friendly & the enclosed dog meadow was huge to let the dog off for a run!! Loads of poo bins around the site!! Our pitch was huge clean & dry although my only niggle was road noise maybe a pitch futhur away from the road would have been better. My boys went every day to the site shop for eggs for breakfast which were delicious. Lots to do in the area, short walk into barnard castle although hilly. Bowlees visitor centre & all the walks from there are a must for dogs & kids. Definitely the best site we have stayed on & I am confident we will be regulars from now on !!! 😀
