Stopped over here on our way to/from Norfolk recently and having nothing but praise for everything. Great wardens, beautiful site, fantastic and spotlessly clean facilities. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay some time. Far enough away from Barnard Castle to make you feel like you're in the sticks, but a 10-15min walk will have you in the town - which is lovely. If you're on the high side of the site you'll hear some traffic noise - not an issue for us, but if you like it really quiet, bear this in mind. Overall a fantastic site.
