Beautiful Teesdale
This is an excellent CC site just 15 mins walk from Barnard Castle. It is a lovely clean site with spacious pitches. Very friendly wardens. Very tasty fish & chips from the van which visits on Wed & Sat evenings. Plenty to do in the area. Visit the castle itself in 'Barney', and the nearby Eggleston Abbey. Lovely walk from Bowlees to Low Force, with further to High Force if you wish. Magnificent scenery.
