Happy Easter!
We spent a week at Sutton on Sea over the week leading up to Easter. The site was well maintained and the daffodils made the entrance to the site look so inviting.
The site team was friendly and welcoming, with the assistant warden giving us tips on where to go and where to eat in Sutton on Sea. The site is within walking distance of the village, which is a beautiful little seaside village. The promenade is flat and goes on for miles, perfect to take your daily exercise, walk the dogs and enjoy the sea views.
Mablethorpe was a revelation too. We had never been there before and was pleasantly surprised with what the town had to offer. If Mablethorpe is a little too quiet for you, then Skegness is 25 minutes away and that was a bustling town with lot to do and see. We enjoyed Skegness as I holidayed there as a child, with my last visit being in 1981!! Sad to see the little train on the prom had gone to make was for a massive car park!
All in all, the Sutton on Sea site is perfectly placed to meet everyone's needs. We've booked for next Easter there already.
