Enjoyed our two night stay and wish we had booked for longer. The site is due a major refurbishment in September and expects to open again in July next year. Already booked a longer stay when it reopens in July 2019. Looks like there will be a new toilet block, improved site roads and new fully serviced pitches in the middle. Please do not ruin this lovely site by cramming as many units into it as you can. Our recent visit to Tewkesbury Abbey by example was a very disappointing experience after refurbishment. Meanwhile, a lovely site team with a well stocked reception shop. The staff work extremely hard to keep the present facilities clean and presentable and were very approachable. A 20 minute walk to the beach which was delightful. A dog walk on site during the refurbishment, even if small, would be most welcome as the local roads are getting quite busy especially in the early mornings and evenings. Looking forward to our visit next year.
