I have been going to Sutton-on-Sea Hawthorn farm site for over 20 years but it become quite relaxed and dirty, it’s a dog friendly site however the dog owners are not child friendly letting their dogs foul the grass tied up at the end of a 20 foot+ leads . The wardens are very relaxed with the site rules regarding dogs, regardless of the germs they carry and its affect it has on children. ( Toxocariasis can cause serious illness, and can even lead to blindness. It is caused by a parasite, known as Toxocara Canis, also commonly referred to as Roundworm ) Its a shame because this use to be a beautiful site, a lot of private sites restrict the number of dogs per caravan and also the length of leads but that said its not the poor dogs fault its their owners.
