Our stay, in mid-September 2020, was was our second visit to Sutton-on-Sea, having been here at almost the same time last year. The site was just welcoming, neat and tidy as before, with excellent, spotless facilities and friendly, helpful staff. As before, we enjoyed the attractive surroundings and meeting friendly fellow members, as well as the peace and quiet of the site's excellent location. Sutton-on-Sea is just as short walk or drive away, with all the facilities that might be required, without the busy atmosphere of the other, larger Lincolnshire coast resorts nearby. The only small disappointment, especially compared to our excellent stay last year, was the mixed weather - for which the site cannot be blamed ! We did have glorious sunshine, with a breeze in the early part of the week, but the last couple of days were particularly wet and stormy. Happily the pitch and our awning both stood up well to the very unseasonal wind and rain, and we didn't allow the weather to spoil the trip. This was another very enjoyable stay at a first class Club site and we thoroughly recommend it to all. We will most definitely be back.
