Lovely quiet site located a good 30 min walk from Sutton on sea. Lovely walks available in all directions, would particularly recommend the coastal walks available. Toilet and shower block are the nicest CAMC ones we’ve come across so far. COVID measures in place but could be better i.e. hand sanitiser at service points and own numbered wristbands for toilets to prevent cross contamination. Whilst walking towards the site exit with my dog, a male warden asked me not to exercise my dog on site, I explained I was walking him to the exit - he then continued to complain to me about dogs weeing up his posts and that he then had to clean them (at this point my dog hadn’t wee’d up any of the posts so I’m not sure why he felt it necessary to talk to me in this way)! There is no dog walk on site, so unless we have to carry our dogs off site this could difficult. Some wardens ruin CAMC sites, by get carried away with the rules - there’s so much more that could be better policed i.e. kids flying round on scooters till all hours and people allowing multiple cars on site with one fob but no, he had to moan about something so petty! Not a very pet friendly experience for us and our very elderly dog.
