This was our first trip out following lockdown and we were so looking forward to it. Unfortunately when we arrived the only fully serviced pitch available was in the middle of the surrounding pitches and it was rather like being in a goldfish bowl. When booking a fully serviced pitch and paying extra for the same you do not expect to feel as though the pitch you are on was an after thought on site - there are 4 pitches in a middle 'island' of the outer pitches and you are surrounded on all sides with very little privacy. The wardens were excellent, really pleasant and helpful and the site was meticulously cleaned again and again - they all worked really hard. The shower block had a system using wrist bands which worked very well with most of the people on site adhering to the system. However, having had this experience on site we would not return. As you can't book specific pitches we would not be prepared to book a pitch on the site and then be stuck in the middle area again which we found uncomfortable.
