Another little gem
Again, another first visit and having checked out earlier reviews and photos of Sutton on the web we were somewhat sceptical of what we might find. We were very pleasantly surprised. Easily walkable to the beach, but further to the town. Good pitches with openness and shelter. Thankfully we chose well as this was an out of season windy weekend. Showers were hotter than on most sites but not too hot. Yes they are older than many but I'm sure their turn will come. Mr Warden was obviously having a grumpy day when we arrived. Either that or small talk isn't his forte.
Try the Donkey Sanctuary up the road for a quick visit. Free to get in (we left a donation) and great for kids to feed the well cared for donkeys of all shapes and sizes. Although it has a basic cafe there isn't much else though.
We had a good break and already planning a return next year.
