Stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of April 2017. Site was very quiet even though the local schools were on holiday - only 3 children on site at the beginning of the holiday. The site was peaceful, beautifully kept by the wardens, toilets always spotless. Plenty to do in the surrounding area, missed out on Alford Windmill because it is only open Sundays, but visited Hardy's farm park at Ingoldmells for the first time and had a great day there. Mablethorpe doesn't change much nor do Chapel St Leonards and Ingoldmells. For those wanting TV the signal is good and I was able to tune in over 100 channels on Freeview although that did need the aerial amplifier to be switched on. The grandchildren especially enjoyed Farmer Brown's ice cream and going onto the Promenade at Sutton in the evening to ride their scooters. They also enjoyed the food from the mobile chippy which was on site on Wednesday - but only for about half an hour. Don't know if it stays longer when the site is busier. The final icing on the cake was not having to be gone by 10am because the site wasn't too busy. My son and daughter in law came for the day just before we left and our grandaughter wanted to go home with her mummy, but grandson really enjoyed himself and wished he could have stopped another few nights to make it a week!
