This was our first visit to this site, but will not be our last. The wardens are very friendly and helpful (as are most on CAMC sites) and do their upmost to help with any of your needs. I know the toilet block has been renewed in the last couple of years but it is kept in an immaculate condition with plenty of hot water. Had a bit of an issue with small groups of children running across pitches,a couple of times tripping over our canopy straps. That is why i did not give a full score in the peace and quiet rating, we will return to this site but probably pre school hols. Please do not let my views put anybody off of visiting this site, it is a cracker. Sutton is a lovely little town with a great seafront and prom.
Potentially very good but rather spoiled by inconsiderate people
This site has the potential to be great, but a combination of a large crowd of tennis players and their many offsite guests (totalling over 40 sometimes) who held parties until well after 10pm on several evenings, many people completely and regularly ignoring the speed limit, children noisily crashing into each other and adults on their bikes, and wardens who were very keen to start cleaning the toilet blocks well before the published time, but not so keen to cut the grass, re-stock the information point, or try to encourage people to follow club rules for the benefit of everyone, rather let the site down. For these reasons it comes well down the list of CAMC sites we've visited over the years. Maybe its a better experience out of school holidays.
Sutton on Sea is a small, quaint place but there is a great fish and chip shop, and Farmer Browns ice cream is superb. We also enjoyed some nice walks along the very long prom.
PS Ignore the driving instructions when driving south from Sutton on Sea. There was no "international caravan site" sign that we could see. Instead, Start looking out for Crabtree Road on the right after you've passed the wonky church spire
Yet again, 5 stars!
One of our favourite sites, very welcoming, pitches all set out neatly & plenty of room, spotless modern toilet/shower block. Lovely array of flowers greets you when entering, a lovely touch.
Cannot find anything negative to say about it. 10 min cycle ride to the beach, 20 min to the town centre. If you're not a fan of fish & chips then you haven't got a great deal of choice where to eat. Bacchus Hotel in the High Street is just passable for food. Fish & chip van comes to the site 3 times a week.
If you venture to Mabelthorpe, try Lady B's in Victoria Road, gorgeous tea room offering teas, coffee, homemade cakes/cheesecakes & light lunches, a visit every time for us.

A Lincolnshire Gem
On entering the site your are met with the most beautiful flower display. A picture.
The Wardens are simply the best. Greeted like old friends. Very welcoming, friendly and so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.
It is a site to which we love to return to and our son and family do too.
Emaculate facilities and a very well tended site too. Spot on.

Second visit this year. Great site.
A friendly welcome. Happy wardens. Site is spotless. Pitches are great. All facilities spotless.
20 mins walk to beech. 30-40 mins to town. (Or £7 by cab).
Shame the sites not open all year.
I’ll visit again for sure.
a good weeks stay as usual
We arrived on Sunday 10th July till the 17th July, and was welcomed by a very friendly warden, we came last year and decided to come back again this year, the shower room was spotless, easy access to the beach, and we would certainly return again
Thoroughly enjoyed the stay but room for improvement
Great site, good location, helpful staff, enjoyed the stay. The only improvement I would like to feed back is the closing of bathrooms between 10 & 11 for cleaning. When you are supposed to check out by 12, this is not a great time to close them, perhaps the cleaning could be done when less people are likely to need showers, such as mid afternoon.
Great location for exploring the area
Easy access, friendly wardens. Exactly what you expect from CAMC site. Very busy on serviced pitches which appeared to be closest to toilet/shower block but can't comment on facilities as we only use our own. Some background noise from A road, but not too bad. There is a small commercial site behind pitches 15-20 and some storage units with fork lift trucks on the other side of the site near the static caravans.
Beautiful Refurbished Site
Lovely site excellent new facilities kept spotless. Wardens do a fantastic job at keeping the site looking good and did a great get together for the Jubilee we and our granddaughter really enjoyed our stay.
One thing spoiled the experience and unfortunately it is the same on every site despite loads of notices regarding speeding on site! People have no regard for the 5mph restriction and some are actually doing 30 at least there seems to be a mad rush to get somewhere! Unfortunately the wardens do not usually see this but something needs to be done before someone is injured.

First visit to Sutton on Sea site
My Wife and I and our Springer Spaniel have just returned from a 10 day break. This site is a Gem, its very clean and tidy. Jon and Sandra and their team work very hard to keep it in top shape. There is plenty of hot water and the new shower block is excellent. The pitches are very large and well spaced out. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked for next year. Thank you.
