This site is only 20 minutes from our door and we decided it would be perfect to trial our new van. The access to the site is good, especially as the nearby Raith Interchange is nearing completion. The wardens are lovely and very helpful. We used a serviced pitch so that we could try out everything on the caravan, these, like the other pitches are a great size and have their own tap and drain. A number of reviewers have mentioned the road noise. Yes, there is a constant hum from the M74 but it never spoiled our stay and wasn't really noticable inside the caravan. Hopefully once the trees gain some leaves and others grow up the noise will be even less. We look forward to visiting Strathclyde Country Park again.
