We stayed here mainly to make sure our caravan was good after a few months in storage.  The site is very easily accessed off the M74 and is clearly signposted. It is located on the edge of Strathclyde Country Park in a rural setting. There are a couple of hotels nearby that serve food and a local carvery, all within walking distance. M&D's Theme Park is 300m along the road which has a number of rides, 10 pin bowling and various entertainment for the kids. The park itself includes a large man-made loch which is an ideal size for walking / cycling around. I would recommend this site as great location for visiting Glasgow and the surrounding area. It is also ideal as a stop off if you are heading further north and just need an overnight. The facilities are what you would expect from a club site and are clean and warm. We had no complaints about our stay here.
