I travelled south from the Highlands last week and intended stopping overnight at Strathclyde site. I called ahead and asked what facilities there were for late arrivals. I was told to go to late arrivals area and pay in the morning. We arrived at 21:30 to find only one Late arrivals pitch and this was taken. For a site of this site, I think this is poor.
We carried on down the motorway for another 10 minutes and pulled into the Cairn Lodge service area. Here we had a quite night and it was free.
