A second visit
We visited Scotland again this New Year to spend it with our son who lives in Glasgow. Last year the site was suffering from heavy rain and the drains couldn't cope. This year no such problems. The wardens were brilliant even clearing the rubbish and checking the blocks on their days off. The facilities are first class and the nearby Loch Is an excellent 5 mile walk. If there is a downside the traffic noise seemed louder this year. We wonder if this is caused by the road alterations and tree clearances between the site and the dual Carraigeway. However after the walking we didn't lose any sleep. Another discovery on this visit was the Toby Carvery situated about 500 yards from the site entrance. Reasonably priced food and no washing up.
We hope to visit this site again when it's warm to do some more walking in the area. Roll on the summer.
