Pleasant site in good location

Our first stay here at this non facility site. Made a mistake when booking and inadvertently booked a non awning pitch, there were only 4 and were close to the busy road so was a bit worried but the road noise was actually not too bad as muffled by trees. There were a few boy racers about at the weekend but it didn't impact on our stay. This site is in a great location with excellent access roads and seems like a little oasis with the beautiful Stover Country Park as its neighbour. From there, you can walk for miles and even onto the Stover Trail which eventually ends in Newton Abbot (around 5 miles). Recommend stopping halfway at the Locksbridge Tea Garden for delicious coffee and cake in beautiful surroundings. Trago Mills is just up the road which has very cheap fuel although the queues are horrendous, at least 10p a litre cheaper; there's also a large Co op. There's a convenient bus stop right outside the site which goes to Newton Abbot where there's connections to Torquay etc. During our 6 night stay, we visited National Trust Parke where there's beautiful walks along the river, Totnes and Darlington Estate and Castle Drogo. This site is so convenient for exploring Dartmoor or the English Riviera and sure we'll visit again in the near future.
