Great location but watch out for the thieving Seagulls!

As motorhome members we find it difficult to find sites that are conveniently located to facilities, as we choose not to bother towing a small car behind us, so we rely on walking or our fold up bikes or public transport, so it is very refreshing to find a site such as this - adjoining the seafront, a short walk to the town and local attractions and the choice of either bus or train connections to Aberdeen etc. The site and facilities are very tidy and clean. The seagulls are a nuisance as other members have reported, but that is a national problem. Having completed a tour which included staying at eight club sites and two weekend stays previous to the tour so a total of ten sites in the last six weeks - it is interesting how each site interprets the COVID-19 guidelines. Southport site in particular are farcical, so I think the club should set out the rules and regulations for their wardens and not leave interpretation of the guidelines to the wardens themselves, so that we members know what to expect at each site.
