fantastic

Had a 5 night stay here & had a lovely time with the most amazing weather. Got a lovely warm welcome & everything explained. We were on a serviced pitch which was a great size & level. Facilities usual high standard. Beach is seconds away & there is a good chippy & ice cream close by. Stonehaven is a lovely town with lots of unique shops, we recommend the butchers in the square, very friendly & amazing range of items. The wardens were so lovely & keep the site spotless Absolutely on our return list.

Long weekend

This was our second stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful relaxing weekend with lots of walking with our dog. Had a pitch beside the toilets this time which was much better. We were blessed with good weather for the opening weekend of the season.

Perfect getaway

Definitely be back here, the beach is just a stones throw away, the path along the beach is flat and suitable for wheelchairs and proms, the site is very well kept, clean, tidy, and peaceful, the staff are really helpful too. We will definitely be back soon.

Lovely Site and So Well Kept

We are just back from 2 nights on the Stonehaven Queen Elizabeth Site and it was a very enjoyable stay with the wardens working very hard to keep the site so clean and everything just as it should be. On our second night the warden were going round all the vans and speaking to everybody that on the 6/7 of Nov 2021 we had been issued with a flood alert and that it may well be in the middle of the night at high tide. The flood warning was given to everybody in order to keep everyone safe. Fortunately there was no flood, however we have never experience a night just like the one we had with the flood alert as it was the most windy night we have ever experienced in our van. The van was rocking from side to side and you would have thought it was moving forward itself (campervan) needless to say I dont think anyone would have got much sleep that night. Next morning the wind was still gale force but the wardens were out picking up any Debris they found. The wardens on this site are so nice and friendly whilst still doing there job and everything is spotless which is a credit to the wardens with such hard times keeping everything spotless was a task in itself however they did manage and they were so good at check-in they even greeted you by your name and gave us a map of Stonehaven with good walks etc. Well done to the Wardens of Queen Elizabeth Park Site Stonehaven 5 stars to them

Friendly wardens and an excellent site

We had six days at this site and thoroughly enjoyed it. Greeted by name by the warden on arrival, who was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Excellent spotless facilities and a very good location right on the sea front. High lights was seeing a pod of dolphins in the bay one morning. Will return next year.

Excellent site

Excellent site just a short 10 min walk from Stonehaven where there are good shops and restaurants. Site is very clean and tidy with spacious pitches and the facilities were immaculate. The wardens were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We ate out at Tandoori Heaven which was delicious and we had take out fish and chips from The Bay Chip Shop that we ordered on line and was lovely and tasty too.

Perfect, quiet well kept site

Stopped off here for a few nights on our Scotland travels. The site was well kept, and spotlessly clean throughout. Love the flower displays at the entrance which were being kept by the staff and tended to every day. Friendly, helpful staff with good knowledge of the local area. Stonehaven has a beach which is beautiful and a stone throw from the site. The town is small but has most shops for essential needs. We were disappointed with the chip shop which is about 100 yards from the site, we visited on our first night as we had been travelling for a large part of the day, we found the fish was tasteless and there was only haddock to choose from, it had to be ordered online and collected from a kiosk window where the staff were far from friendly, this would be quite confusing for the older generation who expect to order in person, however this is not a reflection on CAMC & just a point to make people aware of. The other fish and chip shop the other side of Stonehaven we were told was far better, however we didn’t try it as we didn’t have time. Maybe we shall try it next time. We would return to this site most definitely, I would recommend to anyone.
