Despite receiving a warm welcome whenever I've stayed on this site countless times over the past few years, I had the unfortunate experience of being turned away by a "jobsworth" type (stand in) warden. He rudely "welcomed" me by demanding to know the length of my motorhome. I told him it's an i800qd and so assumed it was 8m. He wouldn't accept this and insisted on checking "the computer", which told him an i800qd (current model presumably) was in fact 8.2m long. This news seemed to bring great satisfaction and he told me I couldn't stay as there is an 8m limit on the site and that it had been raining and I would "churn up the grass". I explained it has never been an issue before and that I always park on boards if on grass but to no avail. Beware
