Top spot in Totnes

Perfect location, perfect hosts and a delightful site. Do not be deterred by the lack of electricity with a little thought you can manage without any problems. Only a short walk into town and the boat to Dartmouth is on the doorstep. Buses are also immediately adjacent. There are many walks to take with or without the dog and excellent food shops, cafes and pub restaurants in the town. A special thanks to the wardens who could not have been more helpful when our dog was taken ill

Great site

This is a great site - quiet with spacious pitches, plenty to do and see, Totnes High Street a short walk away. The lovely wardens are welcoming and often walk around to say hello and see that all is well. Please don't change / 'upgrade'  this gem of a site - it's perfect as it is

Midweek Break

Pleasant site well positioned in Totnes. Friendly & Helpful stewards, Well tended site with clean facilities, Easy access to the marina, Pleasure cruisers & the town of Totnes. Some slight road noise during the daytime but quiet at night. All in all a very good site.

EASTER BREAK

This is the site where we joined the Caravan Club over 25 years ago (numerous visits since) and it hasn't changed a bit, which is not a bad thing. Central to Totnes for shopping, cafes and pubs. Easy access to the river cruises and round robin trip to Dartmouth and elsewhere, fantastic for young and old. We think one of the best CC sites going we despite no electric hook ups and the outdated but spotless toilets which give it its own sense of identity and makes its users friendly. we will be back again this year and the next.

Excellent

We have stayed at this site several times and have never been disappointed. The locality is perfect, a 5 minute walk to all the local shops, there is a morrisons there also.We stayed there this Easter loved it, the site managers where very friendly and helpful and the site well kept, no electricity on this site but with a solar panel you have no need to worry. Highly recommended.

Good location

The main advantage of this site is that it's only a short stroll into the centre of Totnes with its multitude of small shops. There is also a pleasant walk from the site to The Dartington Estate. The disadvantages are that although the toilet / shower block is clean it is well past its sell by date. Also the all grass site tends to become boggy & the wardens get very stressed about this. So if you have a motorhome they want you to stay put & not go out if possible. This means as there is no electric & your discouraged to drive off site you are relying on your battery power keeping up for all your modern day demands during your stay. Bring your solar panel to charge your battery!

Wet days in Totnes

This was our first experience of a Caravan Club Site, and despite the dreadful weather, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Although the site was fairly basic, it had all we needed forma campervan one night stay and was very clean and extremely handy for the town. We were made to feel very welcome by the site steward who had his work cut out helping units avoiding getting stuck in the ever wetter conditions. Well done that man. We will definitely be going back.
