Just spent 3 nights on this site - 7 to 10 Nov. Lovely place with good clean facilities. Site staff both helpful and friendly. Bridgnorth easy to get to on foot, although its an uphill walk almost all the way back to the site, so not for the faint hearted. Several other good walks in the forest nearby, and along the river. Unfortunately there are no nearby pubs/restaurants other than in the town.

Dogs
Disappointed with dog fouling on the Tarmac near our pitch. Not cleaned up by owners or site staff.
Good Location, super facilities
We stayed here to explore Bridgnorth, The Severn Valley Steam Railway and the Ironbridge Gorge Museum sites.
The location was ideal for this and the site facilities were great, lovely hot showers, good private washing areas and all functions well catered for. It rained whilst we were there and our moho on the hard standing pitch was great. The moho grey water disposal facility could be improved so you could discharge from either side of the moho but this is intended as advice rather than criticism. The staff were helpful and informative. a bit of road noise around rush hour but maybe we should put the beer away at night and get up a bit earlier !! thanks to all.

Good Site But
Very Pretty attractive site set around a lake, up to usual club standards, unfortunately you have to pitch where you are told and we where not facing the lake despite their being free pitches throughout our stay that where, and it is a long walk from the back of the site to the amenities buildings. Get with site owners we join the Caravan Club because we have choice, not dictated to like some other clubs we could mention.
Lovely Parkland Setting
This site is one of the prettiest we've stayed on, set around a lovely little lake. The pitches are of a generous size but the grass ones are better placed than the hardstandings for decent views of the lake! The toilets are excellent, with loads of hot water, very clean and some of the best showers we've ever come across. The wardens were friendly enough, but certainly not up to the usual Club training in customer service. There is a small shop on site which is useful if you've forgotten anything. Only a 5 minute drive from Bridgnorth and all it offers with brilliant shops, cafes, pubs and of course, the funicular railway. Only 30 minutes drive away is the Iron Gorge museum area which is amazing (but costly). The site has a nice little play area for the kids. If you're a dog owner, though, you have only 2 small dog walking areas and because of the wildlife and the (tameish) peacocks and ducks, you're not allowed to let them run free. However, just 5 minutes out of the site is Stanmore Park, a good little wooded park with criss-crossing paths where they can run to their hearts content. Be careful on the road there though, as the locals seem to think it's a race track! All told, an excellent little site that we'll definitely use again
Bank holiday stay
My wife and I stayed at this site in May 2015 for the first time. On arrival, the wardens were extremely pleasant and informative. We had a grass pitch which was a good size and a good distance from the other caravans with the lake behind us. Adult only grass pitches are facing the lake.
The facilities were spotless with piping hot water in the showers and WHB.
The site was 85% full and the facilities coped very well. It has a small play area for children and wildlife such as ducks, herons and Peacocks.
There is a bus stop about 1/4 of a mile from the entrance, but buses are far apart and don't run on Sundays, however, a taxi fare is £5.00 into Bridgnorth which has an abundance of real ale pubs and good dining places.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay so much, we have booked to return on the August bank holiday for 4 nights.
April 2015
Spent three days on this site in April 2015. Arrived soon after 1pm and had to stand and wait for several minutes while the four staff discussed their personal social arrangements before we could book in. The previous check-in had to come back in and ask someone to raise the barrier to let them through. Allocated a pitch near the road which seemed to be being used as a motorcycle race track. The resident peacock spent its time in an empty pitch opposite ours and acted as an alarm clock at daybreak each day!
Beware, this site does not use club wifi and charges £10 for the three days we were there. This is equivalent to about 50 times the £25 a year we pay for club wifi.
The MSP is on the exit road. For some reason the grey waste manhole is close to the side of the road so, if your 'van has the waste pipe on the driver's side, you have to turn it round to dump waste water. This is not easy because the road is quite narrow and, of course, can be busy when you are leaving.
Although the site is quite pretty and the facilities reasonable, I cannot recommend it.

favourite site
Excellent site. Very well run. Perfectly clean, landscaped, welcoming, delightful setting.
The wardens are extremely efficient and hardworking with very high standards. Always a pleasure to stay on this site. We have used it for twenty years, two or three times a year and it never disappoints. The site is immaculate, the shower block is warm, beautifully clean and pleasant and the pitches are generous. It has lots of facilities for families but there is an adults only area for those who prefer a quieter spot. Although the site is perfectly kept and landscaped the wildlife is an extra treat. Would definitely recommend this site.

March 2015
A very pleasant site, that is well laid out. Access to Bridgenorth and Wolverhampton is easy by car. Only there for 3 nights, but we will return later in the year as there is so much to do.
March 2015
Second time that we have stayed here and we will be back. The staff are friendly and welcoming and keep the site lovely and clean. The shower and toilet facilities are great. We have two dogs and there is only a short walk to the country park. I agree that you need to either drive or bus it into Bridgnorth but there is plenty of parking and it's not expensive. Some lovely tea rooms and attractions when you get there.
