We have a long weekend from 26th October, nice professional welcome as normal from a Morris facility.
The place is lovely and the grounds well maintained, obviously this time of year there were a few leaves, but to be expected.
There is piece and quite and a lovely duck pond in the middle of the camp.
To get to Bridge North, its a 2 mile walk via the main road which has narrow pavement or there is a 3mile walk via Chapel Lane next to the camp that leads down to the river, for the less energetic they could join me at the bus stop near by, :-) Bus No-9, it runs at 21mins past the hour.
The points I found a tad annoying,
Overall the showers and toilets however clean are more dated than the other Morris sites, the gents toilets need looking at, the water flow is not so good for the job! in hand.
The only other point was the speed limit, we stayed on pitch 105 at the back of the camp, some people were quite excessive with the speed driving by, although there are a few signs stating 10mph, I would suggest that some speed bumps used to remind individuals that there are children and animals about.
Again however nice weekend, ,would definitely return.
Great week's hoilday
One of the best week's going staying on this beautiful kept site with so much on your doorstep, if like us, you enjoy walking there are so many great walks from the site including 3 miles down the river into bridgnorth which is a great town to explore. Staff are so helpful especially Donna who made my week with her enthusiasm , the site has something for everyone, give this site a visit.
Large pitches make the site seem not enclosed or on top of the next camper. Resident peacocks regularly pop over to your van to be fed with the special duck food bought from the office.well stocked shop with all your camping needs.
Stopover Break
As to be expected with CC&M very clean facilities, however the pitches were not kept very well considering the prices charged- my pitch was full of weeds and ground very hard. I was hoping for an early start on departure day but the shop didn't open until 8.30 so couldn't leave before that as you have to leave your membership card to get your discount ( we are all adults - surely we can trusted to pop the key back in the box ). Overall I thought it was very expensive
Enjoyable 3 night stay
An attractive, clean, well maintained site with high standard (heated) facilities and shop. Road noise quite persistent near busy road - suggest going nearer to the lake. Short, convenient bus ride into Bridgenorth, otherwise a bit isolated. Good value for money (CMC discount) but wifi a bit expensive.
Lovely Site
First time we have stayed on this site and we thoughrally enjoyed it.
Although a little way out of Bridgnorth It is an easy drive into town.
The site itself is spacious and pleasantly laid out. No pitch is far from the facilities. The lake certainly adds to the site and provides a wealth of birdlife and the resident peacocks are very friendly. Wi Fi is extra as this is an affiliated site but works fine. Although the caravan club says there is TV hook up this is not the case.
The on site shop is well stocked and the staff very friendly.
As advised do not follow sat nav, it takes you up a single track road with no passing places. If coming from Kidderminster follow to the outskirts of Bridgnorth and the site is signposted.
There is plenty to do out and about including many National Trust properties and the Ironbridge museums.
Bridgnorth is a pleasant town with plenty of places to eat and quite a few antique shops.
Birmingham is about a 40 minute train journey from Kidderminster.
It is definitely a site I would recommend and use again.
Brilliant stay
First stay at Stanmore Hall. We really enjoyed our stay here. The shower facilities were excellent and spotlessly clean. The park was quiet and well maintained. The reception staff were extremely helpful and gave us a very warm welcome. Would definitely return here. Great base for visiting surrounding towns. Well done Stanmore Hall.

Good and bad points
Good points - great location and very clean, amazing showers etc.,
Bad points - very far out from the town and no walking distance to anywhere. Need a car or you'll need to taxi everywhere. Unhelpful staff when hubby tried to buy gas at 5pm. Wouldn't sell as already cashed up despite offering to pay by cash or leave card details for sale to be processed in the morning, very unhelpful and didn't care if we didn't have gas for cooking or heating that evening, used to Caravan Club sites where peaceful after 10pm. Not the case here. Rowdy still at midnight from some caravans. Staff did a lottery bonus ball game. I won but only got £25 out of 60. Interestingly couldn't tell me where the other £35 was going as no charity advertised. Chatting to another caravan club member who also experienced difficulty with staff when trying to get her caravan club discount. Staff were also unhelpful and they had to fight to get the discount. Not what you need when going away for a restful break,

Picturesque, well kept site
Immaculately kept with hard working and friendly site staff. Bridgnorth is accessible but is a bit of a hike, about two miles walk each way up and down a fairly steep hill.
Hard standing pitches are not the best located, we were tucked away in a corner which was a bit tight for our 7m Motorhome, pitch number 8.
Road noise can be an issue and so best to request a pitch away from it.
4 Nights our 1st visit
4 nights here begining of
Nov 2016. Well kept, well organised. Clean warm facilities next to reception at entrance. Shop & room with info & a few books. Easy to find with easy access off main road. Tarmac roads & paths with gravel hard standings also grass pitches. Some pitches near road so some noise. Very quiet Wednesday but most hard standings taken by Sat am. Nothing within walking distance. We visited RAF
Musem @ Cosford, had a walk @ NT Dudmanston & visited another NT property-Wightwick Manor. Also parked in Bridgenorth (low town) & went up to High town On Funicular railway £1.50 each return)

Road noise
It's a shame that the road running alongside this site spoilt the stay as its straight and bikers seem to try to break the sound barrier all day and night. This was the only failure here, its immaculately kept, lovely pond in the middle, separate adults only area for those who only like dogs, and good walks opposite in the country park (on the old RAF Bridgenorth site)
