Very friendly and helpful staff, well stocked shop and great setting. Bit of a walk to the facilities but the views meant it didn’t matter.
Top quality, tremendous camp
This is a top notch camp, excellent quality. It has some magnificent trees, and a lake. The stars of the show are the peacocks.
My only criticism is the wifi, which is worse than useless. It connects, and then drops out almost immediately. It's not worth having at it's present standard. I mentioned this to the manager but seemed to fall on deaf ears.
Our third visit to this fabulous site
This is our third visit to Stanmore Hall as it's convenient for us visiting our families. The site is exceptionally well maintained, facilities block is spotlessly clean and warm, which is a bonus in the winter! All the site staff are friendly and work hard to maintain the facilities around the site. The shops has a selection of food caravan items too. We already have more visits planned later in the year and look forward to returning.

New Year stay
I would like to thank the staff for their freindly welcome on arrival and the buffet they put on for New Years eve with all invited to join them in the conservatory. This is the third Morris leisure site we have stayed on and its good to see the high standards and cleanliness are on show at this site, we will hopefully return later in the year.
It's about two miles walk into town. Speaking to the staff they had an idea that a shuttle mini bus would be a good idea to go into town and return a couple of times a day. This would be a good idea for people who stay and are not able to access the town.
Must not forget the peacocks who called in every morning for breakfast.
Thanks again and hope to see you soon

High quality
This site represents the very highest quality I've seen on a Caravan and Motorhome Club site. The facilities block was absolutely spotless on all occasions, and the landscape and gardens were immaculately kept. The wardens were accommodating, friendly and welcoming. It's a peaceful site but not too far from the gorgeous and historical town of Bridgnorth - a 40 minute walk. All in all a superb site; it's well worth paying the little bit extra if you are looking for a 5* experience.
Excellent facilities
Definitely a 5 star campsite. This is the 3rd Morris Leisure campsite we’ve stayed at and met the high standards we’ve come to expect from them. The staff were cheerful and welcoming. The showers were fantastic in a light and spacious heated block, and everything was spotlessly clean. Both TV reception and wi-fi were very good. The geese were noisy early and late in the day, but otherwise a very peaceful campsite. It is well outside Bridgnorth, so nowhere to eat within walking distance. However, it was an easy drive into the town. Overall we had a most enjoyable stay.

Tour of the 5 Morris Leisure Sites 2022
First Site of our Morris Leisure Tour 2022:-
Site Check-in was welcoming and straight-forward. All the Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Pitch was of good size, clean and well maintained, with close access to EHU and TV Aerial.
Lovely setting, plenty of wildlife, the large lake was undergoing some major upgrades so didn’t look at it’s best.
The shower block was spotlessly clean but could do with a little modernisation.
A decent bus service into Bridgnorth with the bus stop a 15 minute stroll away and a nice walk of approx 2 miles to a good pub.
Our Motorhome has it’s waste water outlet on the off-side of the vehicle and when leaving the site it was difficult to discharge the waste into the grid at the service point.
We would recommend this site and will visit again in the future.
An excellent site
We stayed at this site for a few nights whilst visiting family in the area. We had a warm welcome and were allocated a pitch at the back of the site, which was lovely and spacious. The site is very well maintained and the facilities block is immaculate. There is also a small shop in the reception which sells a variety of items. The lake in the centre of the site is lovely and was full of waterlilies when we visited. The peacocks are also a novelty on a site. We will definitely return to this site.

Stanmore Hall Touring Park
This is a beautifully laid out site centred around a small lake/big pond with an abundance of wildlife, ducks, moorhens and the like. There are also resident peacocks now whether they are a blessing or a disturbance only you can decide.
This site is part of the Morris Leisure Group and their standards are set high. The facilities are impeccable if limited in number but they were never very busy. The reception also encumbers a small shop selling everything from food basics though to accessories. You certainly won't find more helpful staff anywhere.
The grounds and pitches are kept pristine and range from basic grass through to fully-serviced. There is even an "adults only" section should you choose. The site is also serviced with pop-up food vendors.
Bridgnorth is located between 2-4 miles away depending on which way you choose to go. We are Motorhomers and mostly either walk or use public transport to visit places. We decided to trust our "Footpaths" App which showed a riverside path just off the village of Quatford (1 mile from the site) into Bridgnorth but unfortunately this hadn't been maintained which resulted in part of it being extremely overgrown. Whilst it did prove taxing at places the walk with our dogs took about 1 hour to reach Bridgnorth.
The town itself is split into two parts by the River Severn and hosts everything from history to modern with an abundance of eateries and places of interest to visit. The walk back to the site, using the "A" roads, took about 40 minutes but is not without its issues. Here again the local authority or whoever is responsible doesn't seem to think that pedestrians safety is a priority and has allowed the pavements to become overgrown with vegetation.
Obviously access to Bridgnorth if you go by bike or car won't be such a problem. The one you may encounter according to our site neighbours who drove into Bridgnorth, may be parking.
